Hello again! I'm back with a new post, just after I came home from a bike ride. I must say that today it was a bit crazy, not because I have done a few extreme maneuvers, but because I managed to finish off one of my tires. It was kind of used up any way, but I didn't expect the steel wire coming out of it and ripping a hole in the tube because it's a quite big and robust tire that is actually made for way more extreme riding. So, I came back home, patched the tube, bent the sticking-out wire and took it for another spin. At first I was really careful with it, listening for any noises indicating a flat. But everything went fine, I had shot some clips as well through the town with Stefan, and when I got home, just in front of the entrance to my block of flats, I was happy, thinking that the patch held, everything was going so smooth, the guy with the internet payments (also a biker) opened the interphone door and as I nudged my bike to take it inside it happened again..

In case you want to calm down and relax I offer you one hour of The Best of Celtic Woman. If you want to hear them separately, you can find them here. Some of the songs will remind you of some good movies like Lord of the rings.

I'm back this week with a new blog entry after I have actually spent more time working than riding, but I also found a lot of time to think. After all anyone needs every once in a while a little break from doing things and just get lost in thoughts and memories.
This Sunday I tried a little offroading. The initial idea was that

I'm Nico, I'm a teenager that lives in a small, nice town, in a small country that I love very much and here is my story. I'm quite a loner and I've been that way pretty much my whole life. At first it was just the old negative response to "Mom, can I go out and play with the other kids?", but as we all grew older I started to feel more comfortable alone and far from those that already knew tons of nasty words which I hate hearing. By the time I got a little older some boys of my own age have begun bullying others on the streets and I had found my self wishing I stay in the house forever. Everything changed in 2003 when I recieved my first mountain bike. Not much of a bike, but it did it's job of carrying me through the town.

Maybe this is old news for some but for me this is new and somehow shoking. Today I found out that last year a seventh grade girl and her 80 year old grandfather discovered that President Obama is related to all U.S. presidents except one. Ha ha... what a nice school project.
